This artwork captures a serene lakeside scene bathed in the soft hues of dusk. The sky, a harmonious blend of pastel pinks and purples, reflects delicately on the tranquil water surface. A narrow wooden pier juts out into the lake, drawing the viewer's eye toward the distant, shadowy outline of the hills. On the right side, tall grass and reeds frame the image, adding texture and depth to the composition. The artist employs broad, expressive brushstrokes, creating a sense of movement and life within the peaceful setting. The play of light and color is expertly handled, with the warm glow of the setting sun subtly illuminating parts of the landscape. This piece uniquely captures the quiet beauty and ephemeral quality of twilight, evoking a sense of calm and introspection.
Presentation
Alex was born on May 10, 1977 in the city of Nikolaev.
Since 1991 he studied in the studio of the People's Artist of Ukraine MA Rosnyansky. In 2003 he graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, the Faculty of Fine and Decorative Arts, the Department of Easel Painting, the workshop of plot-thematic painting. Teachers: Honored Artist of Ukraine Vintaev Yu. N., People's Artist of Ukraine Kovtun VI
Member of the Kharkiv organization of the National Union of Artists since 2008.
