This atmospheric landscape captures the quiet majesty of a mountain valley, where a winding river reflects the cool tones of the surrounding wilderness. Dense forests, softened by mist, gradually dissolve into distant peaks, creating a strong sense of depth and tranquility. The composition guides the viewer through the gentle curves of the water toward the hazy mountains on the horizon.
Loose yet confident brushwork and a harmonious palette of blues, greens, and muted earth tones evoke the freshness of early morning or the calm after rainfall. Bright patches of sunlit grass and delicate touches of autumn color add warmth and visual contrast, balancing the cool atmosphere of the scene.
Rather than focusing on topographical precision, the painting conveys the emotional experience of being immersed in nature. Presentation
A native of Ivano-Frankivsk region, he lives and works in Transcarpathia in Mukachevo.
In 1965 he graduated from Mukachevo Pedagogical School, in 1978 - Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (Faculty of History),
1988 - Moscow People's University. N. Krupskaya (Faculty of Painting). He worked as a teacher in schools, deputy director of the
Art Design Factory in Mukachevo. He devoted about twenty years to teaching at the Mukachevo Pedagogical School. Participant of regional,
all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. He has held several solo exhibitions - in Ivano-Frankivsk region (2009), Mukachevo (2007, 2012),
Kiev (2013).
