Description
This intriguing work features a captivating composition blending geometric shapes and vibrant hues. The natural wood frame frames a central image, dominated by asymmetrical lines that intersect and intertwine, creating a fascinating visual dynamic. The bold color choice—primarily shades of electric blue and vibrant pink—gives the painting a hypnotic depth. The abstract motifs evoke a stylized bull, highlighting a symbiosis between the modern and the mystical. This art exudes a mysterious energy that challenges the viewer, inviting them to dive into a world that is both unique and captivating.
Presentation
Soft Intaglios and Linocuts
After experimenting with different painting mediums, I decided in September 2024 to participate in an engraving workshop.
My fabulous meeting with Phillippe Mohlitz (a world-renowned engraver) in 2014 may have something to do with it.
A trial with Delphine Combataladès was decisive and confirmed my desire to experiment with the relief engraving technique combining drawing and chromatic with a range of possibilities both graphically and in the superposition of colors.
Having always been passionate about the animal world, particularly mammals, this mode of expression and the choice of my themes echo my desire to raise awareness of the threat of extinction of certain species embodying strength, power, authority and intelligence.
The animals that I draw and engrave symbolize a bridge between the old and the new world, hence their Latin titles.
I opted for unique pieces.
