Description
This intimate and expressive acrylic on canvas work is situated in the style of contemporary figurative abstraction with marked influences of synthetic cubism, fauvism, orphism, and Pop Art, distinguished by its impeccable deconstruction of space into mosaic planes and the rhythmic orchestration of its geometric forms. The composition places a woman with a face divided into double profiles and lyrical facets at the center, seated on a red striped armchair while affectionately rocking two tricolor cats faceted with expressive gazes that rest between her lap and arms. The artist deploys a warm and saturated chromatic palette dominated by shades of carmine red, ochre yellow, terracotta orange, and emerald green, contrasted by accents of violet, deep black, and ivory white, structured by firm and defined black outlines that fragment the background. Through this synthetic deconstruction and the clear definition of its planes, the creator seeks to express the tenderness of daily affection, the protective bond with the animal world, and the poetic beauty that emerges by transfiguring motherhood and the serenity of the home into a lyrical kaleidoscope of color, balance, and plastic transcendence.
Presentation
