In "Urban Justice", SOLO reinterprets one of the most iconic superheroes of modern mythology through a bold and uncompromising urban lens. The scene captures a moment of confrontation: the hero mid-action, muscular tension amplified by sharp outlines and high-contrast color blocks, while the antagonist's distorted expression intensifies the dramatic charge.

Drawing from classic comic book aesthetics, SOLO strips the image down to its graphic essence — flat chromatic fields, decisive black contours, and saturated tones of blue, violet, and acid yellow. The composition is cropped tightly, immersing the viewer directly into the clash, eliminating distance between artwork and observer.

Far from being a simple pop citation, the work transforms a familiar character into a contemporary urban icon — a symbol of justice, resistance, and moral tension within modern society. The live creation during the festival adds an additional layer of authenticity: the piece carries the immediacy and raw energy of public performance.

Viewed from afar, the painting strikes with visual power and clarity; up close, subtle painterly textures and surface variations reveal the physical gesture of acrylic on canvas.

A unique work that bridges pop culture and street art, reinforcing SOLO's position within the collection — where collective myths are reactivated and reinterpreted through contemporary urban language.

Presentation

His passion for art began in the early nineties, and in 2000, he approached the nascent movement of Street art.

In 2003 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he graduated under the guidance of Michele Cossyro, publishing an anthology on the American artist Ronnie Cutrone.

The anthology includes an exclusive video interview, made in New York in 2008. In 2009 he collaborated in London at the studio of video makers The Butchers, creating installations of video mapping. In 2011 he participated in the live performance at the Viennart, at the MACRO. In the same year he participated in several urban requalification projects, both in the French city: Vitry-sur-Seine | Vitry Sur Seine (France), and in the municipality of Taormina (CT, Italy) and Ibiza (Spain). Solo continues his pictorial production on canvas and on the walls of the different cities he crosses. The superheroes, his main icon, once placed on the road are transformed into images offered by the artist to the passer-by. In 2013, he flew from Paris to Prague, for solo and group exhibitions, signaling his presence in every urban center; and then return in the same year, in his city of origin, with the personal exhibition "Heroes in Crisis".

In 2014, he was in Berlin with the Adult Childhooh exhibition at the Pink Zeppelin Gallery. The first months of 2015 fly to London for the collective exhibition Art in Mind : Absolution, at Brick Lane Gallery, curated by The Magpie project. In the same year, still in London he created a project called "Comics Parkour", with which he disseminated several large murals for the city, as if they were part of a comic book whose pages were dispersed by the wind.
