    In the footsteps of Magritte - Ben Goossens was born in Liezele, Belgium in 1945 and attended the St Lucas Art School in Brussels where he studied Illustration and Photography. He worked for 35 years as an advertising agency art director before he began creating photo-montages in a distinctive Surrealist style reminiscent of his illustrious fellow countryman, René Magritte.
    His compositions are characterized by their flawless and painterly renderings of Surrealistic 'dreamscapes'.
