Dasha & Mari

Dasha and Mari are twin sisters born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1985.

They were given a simple 'point & shoot' film camera for their sixteenth birthdays by their father and the rest is history!

These stylish, cinematic works are reminiscent of the great fashion photography of the past and there is a hint of the master provocateur Helmut Newton in some of their more provocative pieces.

Despite their relative youth, they shoot internationally (Paris, Milan, London, Mexico City) on assignment for the world's top fashion magazines including Vogue, as well as producing their own series of self-inspired art nudes.

Dasha and Mari have a unique way of capturing feminine beauty and their stylish pursuit of perfection has already produced an impressive body of work which has been widely recognised on the world photography stage.
