Biography
Leo Gestel was a Dutch painter.Along with Piet Mondrian and Jan Sluyters, he was the leading artist of Dutch Modernism. Spent time in Paris in 1910-12.Had a show at Herwarth Walden in Berlin in 1913. Most of his work were destroyed in a fire at his Studio in 1929.
