This artwork masterfully balances simplicity and depth through its minimalist composition.
The artist is inspired by the mysteries of the Universe.
The central focus is a textured, muted beige rectangle that dominates the canvas, exuding a sense of calm and continuity. In stark contrast, a singular, small, metallic object near the top right corner adds intrigue. This object, reminiscent of a metallic eye or orb, introduces a dynamic tension against the tranquil background. The juxtaposition of the soft, earthy tones with the cool metallic element challenges the viewer to contemplate themes of isolation and presence. The subtle gradation and soft brushwork within the rectangle create an organic feel, enhancing the piece's tactile allure.
This work is a study in contrasts, capturing attention with its restrained yet compelling arrangement. The deliberate simplicity invites introspection and rewards the observer with its profound serenity and thought-provoking elements.

Marianna Stuhr
Graduated from Faculty of Graphic Art at Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as well as doctoral studies at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. For a few years, she works in fields of artistic printmaking and graphic design. She's a laureate of many awards and scholarships. Stuhr took part in many exhibitions, competitions and workshops both in Poland and abroad. Her artworks are part of Fondazione Italo-Svedese in Venice, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Polish Woodcut Quadriennale in Olsztyn, International Association Graphics Triennale in Cracow, University of Connecticut in Connecticut, Real Stories Gallery (Foundation Arts for Humanity) in Durban (RPA).
