Biography
IWAN KULIK (born in 1959)
Studied interior design and painting at the Institute of Arts in Charków. He came to Poland in 1990 and settled down in Warsaw. His first solo exhibition took place in Polish Seym in 1991. Since then the artist held dozens of exhibitions in Warsaw, ?ód?, Sopot and Vienna. In 2001 he was asked by a famous italian vineyard Cormos to design a label for "Vino della Pace".
Oil paintings are the most dominant in his artistic output. They are usually painted in thematic series. Some of them are inspired by great historical figures and personas from art history. Others by moods, places and their atmosphere. His paintings and gouaches are to be found in private collections all over the world.
