Bowman Ashe is an established artist specializing in Fine Art, Commercial Architecture, Street and Documentary Style photographic disciplines.
Passion inspires us to action, elevates our soul, and draws us closer to our true purpose and potential. For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about photography. I could spend days in a dusty attic going through boxes of old photos and photo books, getting lost in imagery.
I am grateful that I have the opportunity to work professionally as a photographer, and ultimately as an artist. I recall once telling a mentor that “I shot some really good stuff today". She emphatically said, “It's not stuff, it's art! And you don't shoot it – you capture it with passion and release it to the world!" No truer words have crossed me since.
When I'm out in the world 'capturing art', sometimes for days on end, it's a feeling of being truly alive - interacting with the entire environment, from micro to macro. It is a visceral journey strung together by frames, thoughtful angles and creative perspectives. It is a hugely satisfying experience.
And when I awake on a day dedicated to photography, there is nothing I'd rather be doing. It is a day of passion.
