Sylvia Galmot

Sylvia Galmot is a French photographer born in 1966. She worked as a photographer and editorialist for 10 years for some of the most prestigious agencies in Paris, H&K and Contour by Getty. She has photographed numerous celebrities such as Emmanuelle Seginer, Diane Kruger, Lea Seydoux, Melanie Thierry, Andree Putman, Raphael Enthoven, Alain Chabat and Lambert Wilson. Her photographs have been published in Vogue, Marie Claire and Vanity Fair. Having a strong knowledge, Sylvia Glamot focused then on art photography.

In her collections, the artist focuses in women, an interest that led her to do a collection on the revival of transgender people, as well as a work on the image of the Parisian. Besides staging, the artist normally talks a lot with his subjects before photographing them, this way she a mood of complicity and comfort that gives an impression of reality to his images.
