Biography
At the age of 16, after winning first prize in France, she received the gold medal in Kuusamo, Finland, at the European Art Competition (Eurojeune) on the theme of "My Planet."
After higher education at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, the Beaux Arts in Épinal, Angers and Mulhouse, she obtained the National Higher Diploma in Plastic Expression with a special mention in painting in 2005 and settled in Chamesol in the Haut Doubs, a region bordering Switzerland and Germany.
Due to this cross-border geographical proximity, she exhibits in France (Galerie Stilmutania in Strasbourg, Besançon, Ornans, Mulhouse), in Switzerland (Biel/Bienne, Chevenez, Goumois) and in Germany (French Institute in Fribourg, Höfingen, Ötigheim and Leonberg for the Lange Kunst Nacht since 2008).
His latest series of paintings.
"Female who laughs," a tribute to Benjamin Rabier and his famous red cow, is universal propaganda for joy, sprinkled with feminism.
The very graphic visual impact of Pop Art style, saturated with bright colors is reinforced by the iconic mise en abyme on the earring.
An act of rebellion against the prevailing depression, this series of nine paintings can be seen as a plea for the right to happiness for all creatures.
