Biography
Panni was born in Senigallia in 1924 and graduated in lithography at the Institute of Urbino in 1954, having started his studies very late. He participates in regional (Senigallia, Sassoferrato, San Marino, Ascoli) and national exhibitions, both collective and group (Reggio Emilia, Forli ', Venice, Rome, Ancona, S. Benedetto del Tronto, La Spezia).
He draws for newspapers and magazines and tries his hand at illustrating famous works (I Promessi Sposi-Crime and Punishment-Pel di Carota). He obtained prizes as a permanent draftsman at the "Democratic Center of Culture and Documentation" in 1957 and one in Sassoferrato in 1961.
His interests in an iconography that is neither smudged nor redundant but skilfully redeemed from any technological prevarication, which however is undermining place this highly personal artist from Senigallia and Urbino among the most significant and coherent image seekers. He died in Urbino in 1996
