Painting is like breathing, a necessity for living.

Biography

Veronica CICCARESE is a contemporary Italian painter. Her artistic odyssey began with an early fascination with the Pre-Raphaelite movement, which profoundly influenced her creativity. These initial influences are still evident in her work, but over time, she immersed herself in the world of art, finding inspiration in the profound paintings of Tamara de Lempicka and Felice Casorati. Their silent, moving, and intimate depictions of female figures resonated with her, becoming a pillar of her artistic expression.

Veronica's artistic approach is characterized by her mastery of body language, which draws the viewer's gaze directly to the subject. With minimal distractions, she establishes an intimate connection between the viewer and the painting. Every brushstroke, every gesture, speaks volumes, inviting the audience to delve into the artist's world and the silent stories she tells through her works.
