The Echo of Form

The Echo of Form brings together a selection of recent works by Victor Popov, where geometric abstraction becomes a space of memory, rhythm, and resonance. Drawing on traditions of the historical avant-garde—particularly Cubo-Futurism and Suprematism—Popov develops his own refined and profoundly contemporary language.
Forms are not presented as closed structures, but as presences in transformation: planes that vibrate, colors that converse with one another, compositions that suggest both movement and silence. In his work, geometry ceases to be a rigid system and becomes a sensitive field, where each element seems to contain the trace of what came before.
The exhibition also offers a cross-sectional view of more than twenty-five years of artistic evolution, allowing us to observe how these historical references are not repeated, but rather reinterpreted and reactivated from a contemporary perspective. The result is a painting that does not impose, but invites: to pause, to perceive, to listen to that subtle echo that form leaves in the viewer.
