Biography
Amvel Atasunts was born in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) in July 28th 1959. In 1967 he moved to Yerevan (Armenia). At age 9 he started oil painting. From 1975 to 1977 Atasunts Samvel took part at the first all-Union exhibition festival and has received the diploma of the second degree. He attended the painting studio under management Kotanjyan. In 1979 he graduated from college of the Arts.
Since 2001 Member of the Artists - Union of Armenia, Yerevan. Samvel Atasunts draws portraits under the order also. He participates at the different exhibitions.
