Danièle Badet

While practicing her profession as a medical doctor, Danièle devoted herself to oil painting. Member of the Sept en Art workshop in Boulogne, she was inspired in her figurative painting by her travels and by the beautiful colors of Corsica. She has participated in numerous exhibitions: Art Capital, Village Suisse, Ajaccio Town Hall, Lumio d'Ile Rousse, New York. 

Currently she designs different works on the theme of exchanges between light and water. Water can be a mirror in which the sky is reflected, but also an environment where a submerged world can be guessed. The gaze does not always make the difference and neither does the artist who mixes his impressions on the same canvas presenting a poetic work that is neither figurative nor abstract.
