Marie-Joëlle Cédat

A professional artist recognized and rewarded for 25 years for her paintings and sculptures in homage to animal life, it is naturally that her artistic research turned towards the sea, source of life. Through her painting, Marie-Joëlle Cédat brings us back to reality, to its very essence through the exaltation of the elements of nature and more precisely the earth, water and wind and maddens our senses in a whirlwind of spray.

She says: "The changing colors, the transparency, the depths, the mysterious and sometimes so impressive ebbs and flows! Everything fascinates me. Painting the sea is trying to understand where life comes from, it is grasping the "magic moment... without ever achieving it".
