Roman Gulman is an Israel-based artist who has exhibited his paintings across the country. He believes that creativity should not be based solely on thought processes, because overthinking can complicate the manifestation of originality and spontaneity. Gulman's portraits are created in an expressive expressionist style, emphasizing both the faces of his subjects as well as the chosen color palette. His artistic process is intuitive, because “the heart itself tells what will happen in the next second”.
