Artist Statement:

I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. I am largely self-taught, but also attended several online workshops, but also private lessons with various German and Dutch established painters. 

I am profoundly interested in the alchemical effect of different materials, creating first textural elements, and then adding layer upon layer, in the pursuit of light, depth, and interesting textures. My work is fundamentally intuitive, illustrating a dynamic conflict between the order of symmetry and the creative nature of chaos.

I see my work as an expression of the forces churning in my unconscious mind and I routinely record my dreams, providing me inspiration for my art.
