Description
Important: due to the fact that the photo requires a width and height of >=1500 pixels, I've uploaded a photo of the painting in-situ as the main photo. Check other photos for the full painting which is 57 x 150 cm. This artwork is a one-of-a-kind original painting, derived from my own observation, imagination, or intuition. All Copyrights and Reproduction Rights are retained by the artist, Selenes Art. A clear, glossy coating has been applied to the surface to protect the painting from UV light, moisture and dust, so please refrain from using any cleaning agents. The signature is on the back of the painting. Also, it comes with a certificate of authenticity. I can create commissioned artwork on MDF panels that look similar to this painting or a color palette according to your wishes. If you wish more information or photos of this painting, dont hesitate to contact us.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. I am largely self-taught, but also attended several online workshops, but also private lessons with various German and Dutch established painters.
I am profoundly interested in the alchemical effect of different materials, creating first textural elements, and then adding layer upon layer, in the pursuit of light, depth, and interesting textures. My work is fundamentally intuitive, illustrating a dynamic conflict between the order of symmetry and the creative nature of chaos.
I see my work as an expression of the forces churning in my unconscious mind and I routinely record my dreams, providing me inspiration for my art.
