Magda Delgado

Born in Lisbon, in 1980, Magda Delgado holds a Degree in Fine Arts - Painting by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL), Portugal (2008) and a Masters in Painting by the same institution (2012). She currently lives and works between Portugal and Luxembourg, after a period of one years living in Wiltshire (England) and four years in Germany (Baden-Wurtemberg).

Solo exhibitions: 2017 „L‘Ermite devant le Mystère“, Camões Institute - Portuguese Cultural Centre, Great Dutchy of Luxembourg, Luxembourg; 2017 „Golgotha“, Krypta der Klosterkirche Dendendorf, Stuttgart, Germany; 2016 „L’Arcadie après le Malaise dans la Civilisation“, Rooster Gallery Contemporary Art, New York, USA; 2012 „Contemplation Images and the revival of mentor Alberto Caeiro“, Museum House Fernando Pessoa, Lisbon, Portugal.

Prizes:2011 Funding - Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation , for the exhibit « Space in Paralaxe » at the Astronomic, Observatory of Lisbon; 2009 „Young Creators ’09“ Award; 1998 „Art Scene ’98 (Ceramics)“, honourable mention.
