Sylvie Leroy-Hoffmann lives in Lille in the Tops of France but Italy never leaves her; it's in her entrails. Italian by her mother and Polish by his father, this mixture gave her the taste of the adventure and the journeys : the discovery of the world through impressions of Landscapes.

Her passion for art is very early born, at the age of 10, where, enthralled by the Italian painters, she is going to spend hours in Florence's districts that it likes, in Galleria Dell' academia and in the Galleria Degli Uffizi, San Lorenzo ... And many other museums in her World...

Then get fresh ideas and stop on the hills of Fiesole in the northeast of Florence with her fantastic view over the city. The colors of this Italy there are retranscribed in her paintings as the Sienna Burnt person cooks by the sun, the ochre and green roads of the Chianti, its hilly landscapes and the dark red of the sleeping evening.

In 15 years, in the Fine arts, she is going to favor mixed techniques bringing more freedom, on an acrylic base, she can juxtapose India inks, charcoal, chalks, collages, imprints, impressions arisen from her passion for Van Gogh.

An impressionist of the modern times who cannot paint a painting at the same time, she makes series of 3 or 4 paintings with different atmospheres brought by colors chosen carefully, the only one aplat can ask for about ten layers and every picture about fifty working hours.

This work was rewarded by exhibitions in France and sales abroad, from Belgium to the United States.

Her passion for the cinema makes him draw film sets in its paintings and its paintings have so naturally their places to make atmospheres in courts or full-length films. The freedom is its key word, as the authenticity and the nature; in the paintings, there are always several readings to be made, as in life, we can also have several Looks and to change way. The form of a life is going to depend on meetings which we make and of the color with which we go and look at the events which are going to cross her.

It is to bring a new sensibility to the one who looks on the atmospheres and the impressions of her paintings with multiple reading.

Her ambition? Encourage the division and the exchange of looks on the arts of times and Of different cultures and on life.

She says about her paint: "I want that my paint speaks to you, that you can read it, that it transports you and gives sense to your life." She is going to try everything by taste of the beautiful : the drawing, the paint, the sculpture, the writing of Thriller and of scenario, the theater, the cinema ... And her brushes follow her everywhere in the life.
