Pascal Dabere

Pascal Dabere is a French artist born in 1957 who lives & works in Amboise, Indre-et-Loire, France. At 17 years old, he was spotted by Dargaud Editions and works for Morris, the creator of Lucky Luke. He achieved his artistic studies rue Lepic in Paris with the sculptor Del Debbio. Since 1990, he devoted his time for the painting & pastels to become later Master in pastel with Sociétés des Pastellistes de France. In addition, his art is featured in publications such as Nouvelle République, Ouest France, etc. Dabere describes his artistic practice as being born out of a need to "translate life". His distinctive figurative and expressive style is translated through acrylics and oils on canvas or linen.
