Biography
Born in 1992, the Alsatian artist Yrak has developed a colorful artistic career. Centered in colorful and geometric paintings, his modern work lies somewhere between graffiti and painting. His style has long been influenced by his other professional experience as a mosaicist and tile maker. His line drawing is marked by a distinctive precisity in its perspective and geometric dimensionality. Yrak achieves a depth to his paintings through a unique color palette, and above all through his eye for line drawing and curve. All his paintings contain the letters Y, R, A and K hidden in the composition for you to uncover. He has just released a book, Schlager Club in partnership with the Malagacha gallery, alongside his contemporaries artists Fernand Kayser and Sven and the Strasbourgian photographer Laurence Mouillet.
Yrak’s visibility in the contemporary art market is growing in 2025, driven by the release of his new book Schlager Club, created in collaboration with Malagacha gallery. This project, featuring fellow artists Fernand Kayser, Sven, and photographer Laurence Mouillet, showcases Yrak’s evolving creative universe and positions him as a rising figure in the French and European urban art scenes. The publication has drawn interest from collectors and curators alike for its fusion of street culture, design, and fine art.
