Biography
Hope, aka Hope 1393, is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Seine-Saint-Denis, shaped by the energy of street art and graffiti. Since the 1990s, he has been taking over the walls of the Parisian suburbs, transforming urban space into a field of expression. In search of evolution, he settled in the south of France, where he refined his style by immersing himself in US Graff culture.
In 2017, his work took a turn when he transposed his art from walls to canvas. Women and their plural beauty became his central subject. Through vibrant portraits, he celebrated feminine diversity by mixing delicate nuances and bold contrasts, combining the intensity of street art with pictorial elegance.
Recognized for his unique vision, he collaborated in 2022 with the WILSON brand for Roland-Garros, creating a shoe combining urban graphics and refined design. Given the success, the collaboration continues in 2023 with a new edition that has received international acclaim.
Today, Hope 1393 continues its artistic exploration between painting and design, blurring the boundaries between art and fashion, and affirming its commitment to magnifying feminine beauty in all its forms.
