Nikolay Buzov

Born on 23.06.1960 in Gorna Oryahovitsa. In 1979 he graduated from the Art School in Kazanlak. Since 1990 he is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. Co-founder of Art Group 83. He works in the field of painting, drawing, and graphics, as well as fashion design.

His paintings are owned by galleries and private collections in Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Israel, Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Finland, France.

He lives and works in Ruse and Sofia, Bulgaria.

In my painting, I try to capture the ephemerality of the moment before one state replaces another in the great element of time. I fill the canvas with tangible dynamics and deep inner drama, often hidden in a very concise and even minimalistic form. I create space for these otherwise cavalry pieces. I offer the viewer the opportunity to wander and explore, to search, to find one another - a very special state of reality.
