Biography
A journalist by trade, after a long foray into the world of embroidery, I am now devoted to crochet, a technique I have been practising since my teenage years, during my stay in Brazil, where I lived for over 25 years.
After several years in embroidery, as a designer, with various exhibitions, trade shows and book publications, I returned to crochet, determined to modernise this technique and demonstrate that it is possible to make modern objects. An additional challenge: recycling by buying raw materials – wool, cotton, beads, lace, special threads – at garage sales, sewing flea markets, charities, etc. Never new, always a thread, a material that no one wants, trying to transform it into something interesting, either through the choice of colours or the choice of textures.
