Alain Beraud

Alain Beraud is a French artist who graduated from the faculty of photography and from the film faculty of the Louis Lumière School.

A photographer, painter and director at the same time, images play a main role in the work of Alain Beraud. It is through photography that he started to capture human beings during his numerous trips around the world, specially in Africa where he worked for several years.

In his paintings, he uses colors that transmit a unique mood through the colors that he uses according to the emotion that he wants to portray. Influenced by Cubism, he paints still life and portraits of contemporary daily life.
