Parscha Mirghawameddin

Parscha Mirghawameddin is a contemporary German artist born in 1987 in Hanover, recognized for his work blending contemporary painting, gestural abstract expressionism, street art, and urban calligraphy. Coming from an Iranian family, he developed an early interest in drawing, typography, and the visual culture of large metropolises. He studied graphic design at the Fachhochschule Hannover (now Hochschule Hannover), a training that has permanently influenced his approach to composition, sign, and color. His path oscillates between artistic creation, design, and plastic experimentation, giving birth to a personal pictorial language where abstraction, writing, and urban culture meet.

Parscha Mirghawameddin's work is based on a research around gesture, material, and spontaneity. Working mainly with acrylic, ink, sprays, pigments, and mixed media on canvas, he creates works where layers of paint, calligraphic traces, dynamic lines, and colored blocks overlap.
