Biography

Clara Romero Aguado, born in Barcelona in 1997, is a painter with a degree in Illustration and Mural Painting from the Escola Massana in Barcelona. Based in Marseille since 2019, she has developed a contemporary artistic practice characterized by an intimate exploration of emotions and dream worlds. Co-founder of the Cinco collective, Clara has participated in various collaborative projects, including the creation of twenty-one paintings for the magazine Les Traversées de la Nuit by the Lapsus Numérique collective. Clara has exhibited in more than fifteen galleries in France, Spain, and Italy, notably at Flamicell Art Contemporary, Galerie Esther Montoriol, and Galerie du Tableau. Her works are held in several private collections, such as those of the Musée des Enfants - Préau des Accoules in Marseille, as well as the Vila Casas Foundation and Guinovart in Barcelona. In 2024, she presented her solo exhibition Songes Mouvants at the Galerie La Nave Va in Marseille, as part of the Printemps Art Contemporain program.
