Sara McKenzie

Born in the Midwest region of the United States, and raised on both coasts, Sara McKenzie returned to the central plains of the USA for her college and graduate school years.  Her formal education was in science, and she spent more than 30 years in the Boston, Massachusetts, area happily engaged in biotechnology.  Over the years, and using all manner of media (fabric, fiber, glass, paper, clay, paint), she has explored form and function, color and shape, representation, and abstraction. She lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States. She has participated in several exhibitions including the latest:
