Karen Schremmer

Karen Schremmer is a multidisciplinary artist based in St. Petersburg, Florida, with a Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of South Florida. Her work is a fusion of traditional and digital media, blending painting, collage, photography, and meticulous crystal work.

Each of Karen Schremmer's pieces begins with an original digital painting, created without the use of photographs. Once finished, it is printed on canvas and then mounted on a handmade wooden panel.

The artist then enriches each work with hand-painted details, spray paint, 3D objects sculpted from resin and clay, as well as authentic brand-name figurines. A final layer of resin is added to enhance the work, and hand-placed rhinestones provide a signature touch.

Influenced by pop art and rich textures, Karen Schremmer creates dynamic and interactive works, often incorporating mirrors and resin that play with light and movement, offering a unique visual experience.
