Biography
Dana Schutz is a New-York based artist. She received her BFA in 2000 from the Cleveland Institute of Art and her MFA from Columbia University.
Schutz's figurative paintings are characterized by her vibrant color palette and bold brushstrokes, capturing the minutiae of everyday existence.
Shutz's work has been exhibited internationally including in Berlin, New York, Paris and London. It belongs to the collections of many institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum and the Saatchi Gallery.
