Biography

Bruce Weber is an American fashion photographer and filmmaker. Born in 1946, Weber studied art at Denison College, Ohio and acting at New York University. 

Weber's fashion photography is narrative focused and highly dynamic. He revolutionized fashion photography in the 1980s by highlighting the male body, redefining public conceptions of masculinity. 


Weber has created campaigns for several established brands including Calvin Klein, Versace and Vogue. He has received several accolades for his photography and filmmaking, notably the Critics Award at the 1988 Venice Film Festival for his film “Let's get Lost".
