Adam Bota is an Austrian musician and painter born in Linz in 1975, who currently lives in Vienna.
Adam Bota started his career as a painter with a figurative style, but over the years, he gradually turned towards abstraction. Every four years, he feels the need to explore new techniques and new subjects, which has led him to explore new horizons dictated only by his instinct.
However, since the beginning of his artistic career, the main subject of his work is man. Which is represented in all its corporality as well as his evil facet. The faces are expressive, plagued by disarray, fear or panic. Opposite feelings and destructive passions play a main role in the creations of Adam Bota, whose favorite subjects are sex, violence, depair, the body and crazyness.
