Born in 1976, Marlène Chombart is a French illustrator.
Marlène Chombart teaches art and is a novelist. She is self-taught in drawing, her creations are made up of ball point pens and watercolors.
With her "Chimères" series, Marlène Chombart creates a fantasy like universe, where antique chimeras become polymorphic figures. Characters with one or two heads who show us their most beautiful plumage. An absurd but humorous universe, where the artist denounces the image of dictatorship imposed on our society and the egocentric nature of human beings.
