Pierre Terrasson

Pierre Terrasson studied visual arts at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the 1970s.

During the 80s, he photographed the entire national and international rock scene, made numerous reports, and produced numerous vinyl covers.

Looking at Pierre Terrasson's photographs is like experiencing the intimate, backstage, on concert stages around the world, on film sets.

He produces portraits and reports for Rock & Folk, Libération and Le Nouvel Obs'. He photographs the greatest, including The Clash, The Cure, Mick Jagger, Iggy Pop, Alain Bashung and Serge Gainsbourg.

Pierre Terrasson's images have been the subject of various exhibitions in France and abroad.

Terrasson is not only a privileged witness to the rock, punk and new wave scenes of the 1980s. There are also numerous series of images taken in the 1990s, which are still little seen by the public.
