Biography
Born in 1986, Sabrina van den Heuvel graduates from the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague in 2008. In 2010, she published her first book of erotic pictures, "Bedroom Diaries".
Sabrina van den Heuvel is fascinated by the classical black and white images and by fashion. Her style is characterized by lines, moving images and strong contrast.
Her photographs are narrative, and they all contain a kind of dark glamour. Her work is inspired by Herman Brood, The Smiths, Peter Doherty, Vaslav Nijinsky, Paul Verlaine or Arthur Rimbaud.
Her work has been presented in The Hague Museum of Photography and during art fairs like the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam, PAN Amsterdam, New York Photo Festival and fotofever Brussels.
