Justyna Adamczyk is a Polish artist born in 1981, in Opoczno. Today she lives and works in Warsaw. In 2007, she received a M.F.A. from the E. Gepperd’s Academy of Fine Arts of Wroclaw in Poland.
Justyna Adamczyk has a figurative approach while also developing her own fantastic universe. Her artworks tackle themes like femininity, sexuality, and our relationship with oneself and to the world.
In 2006-2007, she was a board member of the Art Transparent Foundation on the Survival Young Art Review initiative. She also received a prize from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage in 2005 and in 2006. In 2007 she received an award from the Public Art Gallery within the 17th Young Artist Contest "Promocja" in Legnica.
Justyna Adamczyk has been exhibited mainly in Poland but also in the United States (E|C Gallery, Chicago, 2014 & 2013), in Australia (PolArt Festival, Melbourne, 2015) or even in England (Griffin Gallery, London, 2015).
