Presentation

Le Mouvement is a street art crew composed of various artists coming from different background (painters, graffiti artists, illustrators, photographers and art directors).
Questioning human relationships in urban space, Le Mouvement is focused on diversity and « living together ».

Le Mouvement’s major artwork, « the Umbrellas », by Riks, Tiez ans Romano, started in Paris three years ago and is still in the making.
Uniting people from different origines, cultures, or générations under an umbrella, Le Mouvement’s work is a mix of realism and poetry using « figuration narrative » and « photographic pasted-up technic ».

Performing its art across the streets, Le Mouvement aims to bring people together by capturing meeting scenes of population. The street art crew performs in day light and constant get passers by involved in order to initiate meetings and dialogue.

Le Mouvement is fighting for diversity, living together and spreading good vibes. More than six hundred couples have been pasted up on the wall of France so far. What started as an illegal artistic projet, is now officially recognized by public authorizations and orders from cultural institutions (Ministry of culture of France, City hall of Paris, France Embassy…)
