Biography
Born in 1960 in Khouribga, near Casablanca, Morocco, Bruno Catalano discovered his passion for art from a young age. A self-taught artist with a deep sensitivity to human emotions and experiences, Catalano channels his creative energy into sculptures that are both original and thought-provoking. In the 1970s, his family relocated to France, a move that would later influence his artistic journey.
In addition to the Park Avenue exhibition, Galeries Bartoux hosted a solo exhibition of Catalano's work in their new SoHo gallery from May 18 to June 18, 2024. Later in the year, Catalano announced his participation in Marina Abramović's exhibition at Kunsthaus Zürich, scheduled from October 2024 to February 2025. This collaboration highlights his recognition within the contemporary art community.
