Guy Oberson, born in 1960, lives in Lentigny, Switzerland and in Berlin, Germany, thanks to an artist’s residency awarded by the State of Fribourg in 2011.
His stay in Berlin has had a great impact on his work, he has worked hard and has expressed his doubts and inner trouble in his paintings, and has met numerous artists of the rich Berlin scene.
He expresses his creativity through his painting, but also in plays and in literatury works. He has painted "live" on stage in several performances and has various publications among which, in 2011, the illustrated text "Poser nue", with Nancy Huston. His work was featured in art magazines such as “Azart” and “Artension”.
