Biography
Noémie Pons' work calls for a rediscovery of the sacred: that irreducible dimension of the human being, both intimate and collective, which binds people together. Through her works, she transports us to these forgotten territories, inviting us to consider the invisible, the intangible and the mysterious in each of us. A painting of discovery and openness to what is, immense, infinite, magnificent, beyond ourselves and our pettiness, a space of pure beauty.
Based in Vézénobres in the south of France since 2021, Noémie Pons is a Canadian painter specializing in abstract art. She graduated with honors in Art and Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, then worked for five years as a curator and producer before moving to France, where she continued her artistic training with a post-graduate diploma in printmaking at the Beaux-Arts de Versailles.
She has exhibited in London, Beijing and Paris. Her speciality is to create personalized works to order, integrating the stories of the people she paints for, whether they be individuals, families, associations or companies.
