Biography

Claude Frégère is a Parisian artist working in Clamart, born in Le Havre in 1921 and died in Issy les Moulineaux in 2018.

His artistic production consists of a collection of gouache, studio drawings and paintings on canvas executed in oil or mixed media.

He participated in historic Parisian salons from 1961 after working in the workshops of Painters Roederer and Jac Adam. He became a member of the Salon d'Automne in 1981 - Silver medal (1982) then gold medal (1991) of the Salon des Artistes Français where he was a member of the committee in 1994. He participated in the biennials of the different salons: Comparison, Water drawing and painting exhibition and the national fine arts exhibition.
