Della CAMILLERI is an Italian painter, born in Il-Mosta, Malta in 1964, and living in Sicily for 34 years. Self-taught, she started painting about six years ago, following a family tragedy, and painting served as a spiritually saving therapy - She therefore discovered a gift for painting, and painted her first painting in June 2018 - As a result, she paints a lot, especially for her, her private collection, and is now starting to sell her paintings - She often paints figures alone or in small groups, moving figures, travel memories - Through shadows, characters, gestures, objects, in a very refined style, she always arouses an emotion in the viewer - Della CAMILLERI paints silence, introspection, daily life, and the simple moments of life - She loves Georgia O'KEEFFE's favorite quote: "I discovered that I could say things with colors and shapes, that I couldn't express any other way; things for which I had no words"
