Ella Jensen is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intricate relationship between humans, animals, and the natural world. Born and raised in Izhevsk, Russia, she graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Technology and Design in 2010 and earned her Master of Arts degree from De Montfort University in the United Kingdom the same year.
After living in Tallinn, Estonia, where she developed her artistic voice across various disciplines, Jensen moved to Spain in 2016. Currently based in Barcelona, she actively exhibits her work in solo and group shows across the city. Recent highlights include exhibitions at Dalmases Art Gallery, Shimmy Art Gallery, and the HotSpot Cultural Center, as well as collaborations with the Barcelona Creative Association (ART.Beats).
Working across painting, illustration, ceramics, and mural art, Jensen creates visual narratives where natural forms merge and coexist. Her compositions often intertwine human, animal, and botanical imagery—forming surreal ecosystems that reveal the delicate interdependence of all living things. Through poetic symbolism and organic rhythm, she reflects on humanity's estrangement from nature while encouraging a reconnection grounded in empathy and care.
Her artistic philosophy emphasizes mindfulness and respect for the fragile beauty of the planet, calling viewers to rediscover their emotional bond with the natural world.
