He studied visual arts in Calais, then spent fifteen years on the Côte d'Opale. In 2013, he returned to the Gard and set up his studio in Uzès. The heart of the artist's work resides in his series of figurative portraits: called "Introportraits", it plunges us into the soul of the subjects represented. Painter of the human, his paintings are luminous, filled with serenity. Many events have marked his life as a painter, to the rhythm of encounters and travels. But it is his life as a man that can be read in his works, the sincerity of which is often disturbing.
