Frédéric Poincelet studied graphic design before becoming a graphic designer for the Louvre Museum, a profession he still exercises today. Author of comics, poet and writer, he is also publisher of drawing books. In particular, he was in charge of the Lune Produck / Contemporary Art structure. He takes part in Comix 2000 - edited by L'Association at the turn of the century, to make a state of the comic strip.
It was in 1998 that Frédéric Poincelet joined Ego as X to whom he remained faithful in his comic book production. In particular, he published the 5 volumes of Le Périodique, an autobiographical and graphic journal, in 2006 Mon Bel Amour and then in 2011 Sentimentalism Essay. In addition to his books with this publisher, he is also its appointed graphic designer. He produces several reports drawn for the Bang magazines! and Beaux-Arts Magazine. Building on the momentum of his latest book Mon bel amour, in 2006 he began a collaboration with the magazine Psychologies, dealing with female sexuality, a collaboration which ended in 2008. In May 2008, he produced for the daily Liberation two pages of report / comic about Sasha Gray the American pornstar.
Alongside this journey, Frédéric Poincelet participates, among others, in the Pointus Drawings exhibition, and with the Frédéric Magazine collective in La force de l'art at the Grand Palais.
